Skill the Youth. Power the Jobs. Build the Entrepreneurs.
AgriDroid aims to build a strong, industry-ready skill development ecosystem for the future of agriculture, focusing on Zero-Emission Harvesters, Agricultural Drones, AI-based Crops Care, EV & Battery Technology, and Autonomous Farming.
Through practical, hands-on training, trainees will gain the technical and operational skills required by the emerging AgriTech industry.
Our Training Focus Areas
-
Zero-Emission Harvesters: Operation, handling and maintenance of electric harvesting machinery built for modern, diesel-free farming.
-
Agricultural Drones: Practical drone piloting for spraying, mapping, seeding and crop monitoring across real farm conditions.
-
AI-Based Crops Care: Reading crop intelligence data to detect stress, pests and nutrient deficiencies, and to guide precision farming decisions.
-
EV & Battery Technology: Electric drive systems, battery packs, charging and smart energy management for agricultural machines.
-
Autonomous Farming: Setting up, monitoring and supporting intelligent farm machines that operate with remote supervision.
Beyond Training: Jobs and Entrepreneurship
Our vision goes beyond training — every trained candidate should have a pathway to employment or entrepreneurship. AgriDroid will support successful trainees through:
-
Job Opportunities
Direct pathways into the AgriTech workforce for candidates who complete training successfully.
-
Industry Exposure
Time on real machines, in real fields, with the teams building and operating next-generation farm technology.
-
Mentoring
Continued guidance from engineers, agronomists and operators as trainees move into their first roles.
-
Entrepreneurship Development
Support for trainees who want to run their own drone or harvesting service business in their region.
The Training Pathway
Enrolment & Assessment
Candidates from rural communities, ITIs and universities are assessed for aptitude and matched to the right technology track.
Hands-On Training
Practical, field-based training on drones, electric harvesters and crop intelligence tools — learning on the same machines used in commercial operations.
Certification & Industry Exposure
Trainees complete assessments and spend time with working teams, gaining the operational confidence the AgriTech industry expects.
Placement or Entrepreneurship
Successful candidates are supported into employment, or mentored to launch their own agri-service enterprise with ongoing technical backing.
Why This Programme Matters
AgriTech is growing faster than the skilled workforce available to run it. This programme is designed to close that gap where it matters most — in rural India.
Key Outcomes We Are Building Towards:
Training built around the technical and operational skills the emerging AgriTech industry is actually hiring for.
Opening advanced agricultural technology careers to young people in farming communities, close to home.
Every trained candidate gets a pathway to employment or entrepreneurship — not just a certificate.
Encouraging young entrepreneurs to build agri-service businesses around drones, electric machinery and crop intelligence.
Field-first training on live equipment, so trainees are productive from their first day on the job.
Our Collaboration Vision
We aim to collaborate with EDII, Tamil Nadu Skill Development Corporation (TNSDC), ITIs, universities and industry partners to create skilled rural youth, generate employment and encourage technology-driven agricultural entrepreneurship.
